As anyone who's ever had their tonsils out can tell you, surgery isn't cheap.
It takes a lot of money to keep a hospital's doors open. And when the fun's run out, it's on us to get out there and raise some more. Which means it's time to put on makeup. It's time to dress up right. It's time to get things started on "The Muppet Show" to...Crap. Sorry. I've been watching a lot of children's television lately. But you get the idea.
Overture, curtain, lights. This is it the night of nights. No more rehearsing and nursing a part. We know every part by heart. Tonight, what heights we'll hit.
On with the show. This is it.
Chiunque si sia tolto le tonsille vi può dire che un intervento non costa poco. Servono molti soldi per tenere aperto un ospedale. E quando i fondi finiscono, sta a noi darci da fare e trovarne altri. Il che significa mettiamoci la cipria, mettiamoci il paltò, mettiamoci a sedere che comincia il "Muppet Show", cavolo! Scusate! Vedo troppa TV per bambini ultimamente. Ma ho reso l'idea.
Overture, sipario, luci. Ecco è questa la notte delle notti. Bastare provare o studiare il personaggio. Sappiamo a memoria ogni parte. Stasera sarà un successo. Lo spettacolo ha inizio. Ecco, si parte.
